NIATANG |

During the early 21st century, the globe underwent a destabilizing period, as various governments and countries scrambled to tackle the radical changes global warming had begun to cause around the world. 

One country had been overwhelmed by the waste it produced, and what it took from other countries, causing it to be bought out and turned into Southeast Asia's biggest landfill, with the country itself being deconstructed in the process.

Millions of refugees scrambled to find a new home, with some folding into the country that'd just bought them out, while others tried to escape further south, hoping they could cross the border. 

Struggling to find a home, the refugees made a last ditch effort to put their roots down and establish a new home for themselves, Niatang. Niatang became a new home, and a new start for much of the now defunct country.

Sorting more valuable waste, Niatang acts as a buffer for all the trash coming from the massive landfill, specializing in restoring valuable trash, with the country focused on recycling efforts, while keeping neighboring superpowers satisfied.

You play as Khem, the granddaughter of one of the original refugee families that established Niatang. Spend a weekend with Khem in her shoes, interacting with various customers, all with a piece of trash that has a story to tell.

If you move the game into another folder, make sure the .pck file is in the same folder as the .exe !!

A built in save feature is present once you make it to a nighttime segment, the save icon should appear in the bottom right next to the log. 

You can strike your escape 'ESC' key to pause the game and adjust the volume, and exit the game.

Niatang is heavily inspired by VA-11 HALL-A, created by Sukeban Games, and Ace Attorney, created by Shu Takumi. There might even been some references scattered around ! Thank you very much kiririn, Lark, and Takumi-sama for inspiring us.
